CSA and ISO 9001:2000 - Certifications for a Quality Company
Canadian Standards Association (CSA):
The Canadian Standards Association is an independent, not-for-profit organization that
develops standards and applies them through product certification, management systems
registration and information products.
Canadian Certification: 
Panels bearing the designation CSA are certified to meet the
requirements of CSA C22.2 No.14 (Industrial Control Equipment) and are approved for use
throughout Canada.
US Certification: 
Those control panels designated CSAUS are manufactured in a
CSA certified shop to UL (Underwriters Laboratories) 508A (Industrial Control Equipment)
standards and are approved for use in the United States. Since 1992, CSA has been
recognized as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) as defined by the U.S.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This means that certification
will be recognized by American federal, state and local authorities.
Canadian and US Certification: 
Products designated CCSAUS are
certified to have been built in accordance with or exceed the applicable requirements of
CSA C22.2 #14 and UL 508A and are approved for use in Canada and the United States.

ISO 9001:2000 Registration: 
In addition to the certifications required by law as described above, we are proud to say
that The Panel Shop, in its continued efforts to offer high quality products and
services, is registered by the Quality Management Institute (QMI) to the ISO 9001:2000
standard.
International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
ISO is the International Organization for Standardization and is made up of national
standards institutes from countries large and small, industrialized and developing in all
regions of the world. ISO develops voluntary technical standards which add value to
all types of business operations. They contribute to making the development,
manufacturing and supply of products and services more efficient, safer and cleaner.
ISO 9001 is the standard used for quality assurance in design, development, production,
installation and servicing. This is the requirement standard used to demonstrate
capability for design/development of a product or service as well as for production,
installation and servicing.
